31 Days of Art – Day 8

Fall is here!

On Saturday I was hanging out in shorts and a Tee.  It was HOT!  Muggy and Hot!

I was busy in my studio painting, but it was uncomfortable in there.

But overnight, things changed.  Sunday became wet and cold.  In the 40′s cold.

But with the cold weather comes the turn of the leaves.

I scouted the local park for more colorful leaves and I found some beautiful ones that will become paintings over this next week.  First up….Maple.

This particular Maple tree was blazing red and one of the first things to jump out at you when you enter the park.  Just gorgeous and fitting that it should be the first leaf painting of the season.
